“Right Connection” – September 27, 2023 – November 22, 2023

“So, in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.” Romans 12:5
“We weren’t just built for community; we were built because of it.” Jennie Allen
Every one of us always carries a cell or mobile phone with us. Every phone has a network connection in the form of sim card. The sim card carries your personal information (like phone number, your data storage, etc.). When you call from your mobile phone, the connection goes out through your sim to the network tower; from there it is transmitted to the other network where you are calling, and you get connected to the person with whom you want to be connected.
We must understand that there’s power in connections. And if we fail to make connections, or if we have faulty connections, we’ll never experience the power in the way it was meant to be experienced. We’ll continue to go through life just pushing ourselves off or parking on a hill or leaving the engine going and running out of gas. Connections with God and people are important. In fact, they are vital to the growth of our lives and Cornerstone UMC, OKC.
In the next few weeks, we are going to be looking at “Right Connections”. Through this devotional series, we will come to experience how important it is to be in connection with Christ and His followers. Amen!
