Cornerstone is a community of people that value worship and believe gathering with other Christians to honor and worship God is vital to growth in faith and living God’s mission out in the world. Cornerstone offers two morning Sunday worship services as well as Sunday School groups and an evening dinner church service:
9:00 AM Contemporary Worship
The Contemporary Worship is a service with a little more of a modern feel. Each week the gathering includes acoustic and modern hymns and songs, prayer, a sermon, and a celebration of holy communion.
9:45 AM Sunday School Classes
Cornerstone offers an assortment of adult classes, bible studies, and small groups that meet consistently throughout the year. These include Sunday School classes for all walks of life on Sunday mornings at 9:45 am. Come to the main building and someone can point you to the right study group for you!
10:45 AM Traditional Worship
Cornerstone’s Traditional Worship Service has a more traditional feel. Each Sunday this gathering includes praise songs, hymns, liturgy, prayer, a robust choir, a sermon, and celebrates Holy Communion the first Sunday of every month.
5:00 PM Dinner Church
In the time of Jesus and His Apostles, there was no church. No buildings with pews and stained-glass windows. No choirs and hymns. And no preacher giving a sermon high above the congregation.
Instead, there were dinners. Intimate conversations. Relationships built with believers and nonbelievers alike. And always, Jesus prayed and healed and told them all about the Kingdom of God that he was bringing on the earth.
At Cornerstone, we have incorporated this form of “church”, as brought to us by Jesus and the early church founders. At Dinner Church we invite anyone and everyone to join us for a delicious and filling dinner. We eat together, and strangers quickly become friends. And we offer healing, and prayer, and friendship, as we share stories of Jesus.
Join us on Sundays at 5pm in the Activity Building behind the main church, and see why Dinner Church at Cornerstone has become such a big deal. Everyone is welcome.
