Pastor’s Blog: Fully Committed Heart

The ultimate test of commitment is not how we respond on our best spiritual day, but how we remain faithful in the mundane, everyday seasons of life. This challenges believers to maintain their passion and devotion. It is easy to be committed to mountaintop experiences, but the test is enduring faithfulness in the routine of life. Spiritual drift happens slowly. Remaining fully committed requires intentionality, daily renewal, and guarding your heart against busyness or distractions.

Dig Deeper

The most beautiful people dig deep and grow toward the nutrients found within the firm foundation of Christ. Yes, they dig deep because they must. Survival is at stake, but it’s not the only thing that compels them. Their faithfulness and love of Christ compel them to “Dig Deeper” for a firm foundation on Jesus Christ! Amen!

The Promise

God has a plan. God has a gracious set of promises that he will fulfill. Destitution does not have the last word. The tragedies that come do not define us ultimately. So, as we are preparing for the Advent and Christmas Seasons, Chapter 33 of the Book of Jeremiah starts off with a beautiful promise of recovery and healing that the Lord is bringing.
